How our free site survey works
We offer a free site survey on selected products for customers considering installation with our products.
To confirm a site survey appointment, a £250 + VAT installation deposit is required.
This deposit is fully deductible from the cost of installation only should installation proceed, and cannot be applied to products purchased without installation.
Once a site survey has been completed, the installation deposit covers the cost of the survey and related assessment work and becomes non-refundable, even if the customer proceeds with a product-only purchase without installation.
Eligibility for a free site survey will be confirmed once the selected product has been identified.

Q1: Is the site survey really free?
A: Yes! The site survey itself is provided at no additional charge. The £250 + VAT you pay upfront is an installation deposit, not a fee for the survey. If you proceed with installation, this deposit is fully deducted from your installation cost.
Q2: What happens if I decide not to go ahead with installation?
A: If no site survey has been completed, your deposit is fully refundable. However, once the survey has been carried out, the deposit covers the cost of the survey and related assessment work and becomes non-refundable.
Q3: Can the deposit be used to buy products without installation?
A: No. The £250 + VAT deposit can only be used towards installation costs. It cannot be applied to products purchased without installation.
Q4: Why do you require a deposit if the survey is free?
A: The deposit ensures that our survey team’s time is dedicated to serious installation enquiries. It is fully deducted from your installation cost, so you don’t pay anything extra for the survey itself.
Q5: How is the deposit applied to my installation?
A: Once you confirm your installation, the £250 + VAT deposit is subtracted from the total installation invoice, making your site survey effectively free.
Q6: Will I know the cost before committing to a site survey?
A: Yes! We can provide a no-obligation quotation with proposed prices for both products and installation before you confirm a site survey. This means you can see the full costs upfront and make an informed decision before paying the £250 + VAT installation deposit.

2. If you're unsure what you require or have questions regarding your requirements. You can give us a call on 01889 577 347 where our friendly, helpful team can offer assistance and talk you through your requirements, to provide a no obligation quotation.
3. Drop us an email! (Sales@stopem.co.uk) We're here to help and can assist with any questions you may have. We welcome photos of the installation site if you have them as this can help us provide the best guidance and a no obligation quotation.

What to expect
Delivery time scales will vary on stocked and made to order items. However, we will always guarantee installation within 5 working days of your order being delivered. (Subject to location, please contact us for more information)
We promise to provide full communication from start to finish, with full after sales service. To give you extra reassurance, all our install teams are highly experienced, fully insured, and completely committed to providing you with a friendly, reliable and smooth experience.
All installations completed by Stopem, will have a 2-year warranty from completion. (Product warranty not connected to installation)
