Stopem fixed height restriction barriers provide a strong and permanent solution for controlling vehicle access where taller vehicles need to be prevented from entering a site.

Manufactured from heavy-duty steel box section, our SB.23F fixed height restriction barriers are available in a range of access widths from 3 metres to 10 metres. Each barrier can be manufactured to suit your required width and vehicle height restriction, making them suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial, car park and private access applications.

Fixed Height Restriction Barrier Sizes

Our fixed height restriction barriers are available in widths from 3 metres to 11 metres, providing solutions for both standard vehicle entrances and wider commercial and industrial access points.

Available widths: 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m, 7m, 8m, 9m, 10m and 11m.

All barriers are manufactured from 100mm steel square box section and can be supplied with a choice of height restriction and finish options.

For the larger 9m and over barriers, a sunken/concrete-in installation is recommended due to the size and span of the barrier.

Height Restriction Options

Our fixed height restriction barriers are available with the following clearance heights, measured from ground level to the underside of the top bar or nudge bar:

Available restriction heights:

1.9m | 2.0m | 2.1m | 2.2m | 2.3m

When maximum height signage is selected, the sign will display the height restriction chosen for the barrier.

Construction & Finish

Stopem fixed height restriction barriers are manufactured from 100mm steel square box section, providing a robust and durable structure designed for permanent installation.

The barriers are manufactured to order and can be supplied in a range of finishes to suit the installation environment.

Galvanised Steel

Galvanising provides a protective coating against corrosion and is an excellent option for barriers installed outdoors or in exposed environments.

Powder Coated

Powder coating provides a durable coloured finish and allows the barrier to stand out, or matched to your site or be matched to company colours.

Galvanised & Powder Coated

For installations where additional corrosion protection is required alongside a coloured finish, the barrier can be both galvanised and powder coated.

Maximum Height Signage & Nudge Bars

Clear signage helps drivers identify the maximum vehicle height permitted through the entrance before reaching the restriction.

Maximum height signage can be supplied with our fixed height restriction barriers and can display the specified restriction height, such as 1.9m, 2.0m, 2.1m, 2.2m or 2.3m.

Nudge Bars

Nudge bars can also be supplied on selected barrier sizes. These provide an additional visual warning to approaching drivers and can help alert drivers to the overhead restriction before their vehicle reaches the main barrier.

For larger access widths, the nudge bar arrangement can vary according to the barrier specification.

If you require maximum height signage or a nudge bar with your fixed height restriction barrier, please specify this when requesting your quotation.

Where suitable, the barrier posts can be surface mounted onto an existing concrete foundation using mechanical fixings.

This can be an effective option where a suitable concrete surface already exists and excavation is not required.

Concrete-In / Sunken Installation

For a more permanent installation, the barrier posts can be installed below ground and concreted into position.

We recommend concrete in fixture for the most secure solution.
